What an amazing start into 2025 with our first trip of the year to Madrid.
The Oxford City JPL U14 team went on an exciting and educational trip to Madrid, organised by Futbol Travels.
The team, currently competing in the London JPL (Navy Blue), took the opportunity to play and compete against top academies Rayo Valecano, Atletico Madrid and Leganes Academy. Aside the matches, the team also enjoyed training sessions at Casarrubuelos, a place where famous players like De Gea used to learn their trade.
Aside from the great football experience, the team also had time to enjoy the beauty of Madrid, including it’s most famous stadium – the Bernabeu – as well as some leisure time filled with swimming and padbol!
